From Your Sizzle Family
For the first time in 19 years, I won’t be running around like a mad man this Memorial Day weekend. Honestly, for the past few months, I was ok with all that’s going on. But this morning after I woke up, with the sun shining so bright outside, it hit me, and I actually became really sad at the reality that this isn’t happening. However, I know that I’m not alone, as there are so many of my colleagues and fellow event planners that are also experiencing the same thing and probably having the same emotions. _______________
To all our supporters and attendees, I truly would, like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thanks for being so considerate and understanding as we navigate this ordeal that I could never have imagined in my lifetime. But Hey, to borrow a line from one of my great mentors and friend, the late E. Lynn Harris, “This Too Shall Pass”. With your continued support, I look forward to producing more, bigger, better experiences.

MIAMI FLORIDA, Monday April 20st 2020 - Here at Sizzle Miami, we hope that you and your loved ones are well as we combat the COVID-19 virus that’s having a devastating impact on all our lives. We last communicated with you on March 31st, and would have liked to have communicated with you sooner, but until now, we had nothing new to share as it related to Sizzle 2020. Thanks for hanging in there, we appreciate your patience.
In that update, we informed you that the event is being postponed to a date later in the year. At that time, State and Federal safety regulations were changing by the minute making it difficult for us to nail down a new date for the event. While some have suggested that we simply cancel, an overwhelming majority of you insists that the event be rescheduled for a date later in the year providing that State and Local official gives the green light to do so. Although we don’t have a green light, directives issues by the Federal Government last week has made the outlook of a return to “normalcy” a little clearer with the announcement that the US will begin to reopen in phases. (See Link Below). Therefore, should large groups be allowed to convene by Labor Day Weekend, Sizzle 2020 will be held Thursday September 3rd Monday September 7th, 2020.
Looking ahead, over the next few weeks and months, we will continue to pay close attention to and follow directives from State and Local officials as it pertains to the virus here in South Florida. Ensuring the health and safety and of all attendees during the COVID-19 pandemic remains our most important objective and priority.
