No we are not a pride in the traditional sense. We are about throwing the hottest, sexiest parties in the nation.

Host Hotel
How much does it cost to stay at the hotel?
The cost at the host hotel is $139 plus taxes and fees per night. The Hyatt Regency Miami provides exceptional rooms and services and are conveniently located in Downtown Miami with great access to the beaches, clubs shopping and South Beach. See Host Hotel for reservations information. Hotel room booking(s) will be handled by our reservation’s hotline only. You will need to call 404-885-6067 to make your hotel reservations.

Are There Any Additional Room Charges?
YES, please be advised that there will be a $3.00 surcharge for housekeeping.

Is this Property Gay Friendly?
The Hyatt Miami Regency is TAG Approved. Travel Alternatives Group (TAG) Approved ® accommodations qualify by agreeing to not discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation in their employment practices, actively outreach to the gay & lesbian community, and strive to create a gay-friendly experience for their guests. The hotel is aware of the Sizzle 2007 group and is excited to be hosting our event.

Is There An Over-flow Hotel?
NO! We will not have an overflow hotel this year. However, we will make suggestions

Is there a VIP Card Available To The Events?
Yes! There are five actually. One is sure to suite your needs. Click Here For Details

Will You Mail The VIP Cards To Us?
No, the cards will be held for you at the host hotel. This is to prevent any of the cards from getting lost in the mail.

Are The Cards Good For All Events?
Yes, the cardsare good for all Sizzle events. 2 Day events and 5 night events Thursday-Monday

Are The Cards Sold During The Week Of Sizzle?
No, by that time, all of the cards will be sold.
Transportation|
Do I Need to rent a car?
That actually won’t be a bad idea. Although most events are relatively close to the Host hotels, you will still need a car to get around. Miami is a tourist city and cabs can cost a pretty penny. But it’s not totally necessary.

Are There Discounts For Air & Ground Transportation?
Last summer we were able to secure discounted rates with Hertz, Avis, American-Airlines and Continental. Please refer to the back of this brochure for contact and reservations information. Sorry Atlanta, but Delta isn’t offering any corporate discounts at this time.
What’s cab fare from the Miami International Airport to the Hyatt Regency Miami Hotel?
The average cost is between $19-20 for a cab. To save, you can also share a cab with a group of tourist going in the same area. This can run you between $10-12. Transportation information is located at the Airport upon arrival.

Are There Shuttle Buses?
YES - ***SHUTTLE SERVICE ADDED***
We will provide shuttle service to and from All of the Official Events of Sizzle 2007. If you don’t want to deal with the parking rush of downtown Miami, use our convenient shuttle service ($5 Each Way). Ample parking around our venues will not be a problem, however, because of the limited number of metered spaces, secured parking in the downtown area will range from $10-$20 tht and most weekends. There is no charge for metered parking at night in downtown Miami.

For those of you that wish to take advantage of this service, you may pay for the shuttle service nightly or purchase a Shuttle Pass. The passes will be sold at our hospitality lounge from 11am-9pm. You will still be transported with or without a pass.

This service will be available from The Hyatt Regency Miami. Guest at area hotels will have to go to the locations above to use the shuttle service. The shuttles will run every 15 minutes from the Hyatt Regency Miami until the end of each event, every night.
 Please use this servce especially if you are intoxicated.

What’s the Weather Like In Miami?
Sun, sun and yes more sun. Seriously, it does rain in Miami. However, not for a long period of time. The average high is 86 degrees and the low is 71 degrees. For you girls that like to flaunt the furs; not here baby!

How Far Are Is SoBe From The Hotel?
The bridge to South Beach is just 5 minutes from the host hotel.
How Much Money Do I Need For Events?
It may not be a bad idea to bring your entire bank account. Just kidding, but as with major circuits such as DC Black Pride, At the Beach in LA, Atlanta Black Pride and Black Pride NYC, clubbing can range from $15-25 depending on the venue. Fortunately, we’re not charging South Beach prices ($45+), but don’t expect Sizzle events to cost less than $15. Sizzle 2007 utilizes a jump line at most of it’s events. Patrons that do not have a VIP card can use the jump line wich ranges from $40-$50.

If I am staying on South Beach when should I leave to go to a night event?
We suggest that you leave no later than 10PM. The causeway (I-195) gets pretty backed-up during Memorial Day Weekend. Tens of Thousands of Hip-Hoppers make their way to glitzy South beach each night. It’s truly a mess. So you can either spend your evening on the causeway or at one of our fabulous, Sizzling events. Just leave early! Because of the amount of people trying to get into our events, it’s never to early to get to an event.
Are You Using The Same Venues For The Nightly Events?
Non of our venues will be repeated during the week. A new sexy club with sizzling entertainment and atmosphere every night.

What’s there to do in the daytime?
There are literally thousands of things that you can get into in Miami - smorgasbord of entertainment and activities. Our welcome packets at the host hotel will provide you with an array of things to do while here in Miami.
Where are good places to shop?
Next to sun bathing and beaching, shopping is a favorite for most of our visitors to Miami. Like Lenox in Atlanta, Aventura Mall in Aventura is a perfect place to shop and be scene. For those of you that have a much deeper wallet, Bal Harbour Shops is a must. See shopaventuramall.com and balharbourshops.com for more information and directions or as your hotel information desk.
Are there any clothing optional beaches?
I thought that you’d never ask. Yes there is actually. Haulover Beach Park provides sectioned areas were nude bathing and tanning are permitted. Located at 10800 Collins Ave., Haulover leaves little to the imagination.

As a result of our successful events over the years, you will notice a lot more promoters attempting to lure you into their events this Memorial Day Weekend. As always we will do our best to provide you with Hype DJs, Sizzling Entertainment in and an Awesome Atmosphere. Make sure that you are on our mailing list so that we may send you the official brochure of events. We would hate for you to end-up at the wrong functions. Always Look For Sizzle 2007 on flyers and next year Sizzle 2008 and so on.

There aren't any groups working for us (Sizzle) in an Official Capacity outside of South Florida. We will not be held accountable for payments of any sort presented to promoters or travel organizers.
